Recently, the Liulin LNG liquefied natural gas project, which was constructed and operated by our company, was officially completed and put into operation. Located in Liulin County, Shanxi Province, this project represents another significant milestone in our efforts to expand the clean energy sector in Shanxi, and it plays a vital role in enhancing regional energy security and advancing green, low-carbon development.
The project is designed with a daily processing capacity of 200,000 cubic meters and has established an integrated, end-to-end facility that encompasses natural gas purification, liquefaction, outbound loading, supporting utility systems, and comprehensive safety and fire protection. The project employs an advanced skid-mounted liquefaction process, which features a short construction period, flexible operation, and a small footprint, making it ideally suited for the efficient collection and liquefied utilization of dispersed gas resources.
Upon commissioning, the project will significantly enhance the on-site conversion and utilization of coalbed methane in Liulin County and surrounding areas, thereby supporting the region’s carbon reduction targets. Meanwhile, the LNG produced can be widely used in industrial gas applications, as a transportation fuel, and for peak-shaving in urban gas supply, delivering substantial economic and social benefits. Moving forward, our company will continue to leverage the region’s abundant coalbed methane resources, further optimize operations and management, strengthen safety and environmental protection capabilities, and contribute to local energy security and green development.
