Sinopec to obtain more than 400000 cubic meters
2022-02-24
China News Service, Beijing, January 28 (Reporter Liu Liang) The reporter learned from Sinopec on the 28th that the key shale gas exploration well of Sinopec Exploration Branch deployed in Qijiang District, Chongqing City-Well Dingye 7, on January 25 The shale gas layer of the Longmaxi Formation with a depth of 4400 meters obtained a high-yield airflow per day of 428000 cubic meters, marking China's new and significant progress in the field of deep shale gas exploration.
This is the second shale gas well with a daily output of over 400000 cubic meters obtained by the Exploration Branch after the Dongyeshen2 well in October 2021, further confirming the potential of over 2 trillion cubic meters of deep shale gas resources in the southeast Sichuan exploration area of Sinopec.
It is understood that in the field of deep shale gas with a buried depth of more than 4000 meters, there are many world-class problems such as large shale burial depth and complex in-situ stress. In 2019, Sinopec broke through the fracturing technology of shale gas wells buried at a depth of more than 4000 meters, and the Dongyeshen 1 well deployed in Chongqing obtained 310000 cubic meters of high-yield airflow per day in a high-quality shale gas layer buried at a depth of 4270 meters, making a major breakthrough in deep shale gas exploration. In October 2021, well dongyishen 2 received 412000 cubic meters of high-yield gas flow per day in the shale gas layer with a depth of 4300 meters, and the production of deep shale gas exceeded 400000 cubic meters for the first time. In addition, the high-yield Ding Page 7 well further demonstrates the good prospect of shale gas exploration and development in the southeast Sichuan exploration area.
