At the same time, domestic resources continue to be produced, infrastructure construction is accelerated, structural optimization is significant, the resilience of the industrial chain supply chain is further enhanced, the system and mechanism are constantly improved, and the momentum of natural gas development is sufficient.
It is understood that with the enhancement of the market regulation role, the domestic gas consumption structure has been continuously optimized, the multi-energy complementary effect has begun to show, and the market demand has also seen rapid growth. The report states that,In 2023, natural gas consumption reached 394.5 billion cubic meters, an increase of 28.2 billion cubic meters, an increase of 7.6 percent over the previous year; natural gas accounted for 8.5 percent of total primary energy consumption, an increase of 0.1 percentage points over the previous year.
