Recently, three multiphase flow separation and metering units developed and manufactured by Huishite have been successfully put into operation in the third-phase, second-stage surface engineering project (Agere and Ak Gumuram gas fields) of Zone B in the Bagdare Contract Area, Turkmenistan. This achievement has provided a reliable guarantee for the stable supply of local energy and has earned high recognition from our customer.
As the core region for energy cooperation between China and Central Asia, the Bagh-Dere Contract Area shoulders the critical mission of developing natural gas resources and ensuring a stable supply. The eastern gas field in Zone B is located deep within the Karakum Desert, and its reservoir exhibits complex characteristics such as high pressure and high sulfur content, placing extremely high demands on the accuracy and environmental adaptability of metering equipment. The multiphase flow separation and metering unit recently put into operation was specifically designed to meet the unique operating conditions of this region. Featuring a composite architecture of “primary separation plus high-precision sampling and metering,” this unit significantly reduces equipment size and lowers costs while achieving precise measurement of gas-liquid multiphase fluids. It effectively addresses the longstanding challenges faced by conventional units in desert environments—namely, large size, low accuracy, and difficult maintenance. This unit boasts the following four key advantages:
I. Good environmental adaptability
Made from materials resistant to high sulfur content, it can reliably handle extreme operating conditions involving high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide in the medium, ensuring long-term dependable operation even in harsh environments.
II. Reliable Measurement Performance
An innovative two-stage cyclone separation process is employed to achieve gas-phase homogenization, with a separation efficiency exceeding 99%. Paired with a high-precision real-time data acquisition system, this technology enables accurate monitoring of multiphase fluid parameters—including oil, gas, and water—providing reliable data support for dynamic analysis and precise management of gas reservoirs.
3. Compact and Efficient Integrated Design
Through deep optimization and the adoption of an integrated skid-mounted design, we have significantly reduced the system’s footprint, lowered costs, and simplified the process flow, enabling rapid deployment and immediate production.
4. Intelligent Operations and Maintenance Support
Supports real-time remote data transmission, online monitoring, and intelligent early warning, reducing the frequency of manual inspections and operational maintenance costs, and aligning with the scaled and intensive management requirements of modern oil and gas fields.
After the three units are put into operation, they will enable continuous online measurement and dynamic monitoring of individual well production, providing precise data support for the scientific release of gas field capacity and comprehensively supporting the production and operations of the Agre and Ak Gomuram gas fields. The successful commissioning of this project underscores our company’s strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities in high-precision metering equipment, laying a solid foundation for the stable operation of the China-Central Asia Gas Pipeline and fulfilling our shared vision of "strengthening energy cooperation to benefit the people of China and Turkey." Moving forward, taking this project as a model, our company will continue to advance the R&D and iterative upgrades of high-end metering equipment and promote their widespread application, offering customers more intelligent and reliable energy service solutions.
