Activated MDEA and formulated MDEA solutions are used for acid-gas removal (CO₂ and H₂S) from natural gas and coalbed methane, ensuring that the treated gas meets commercial natural-gas quality specifications. For liquefied natural gas and cryogenic natural gas, preliminary treatment is carried out to meet the specified pre-treatment limits, with CO₂ concentrations reduced to below 50 ppmv and 20 ppmv, respectively, as required by the ethane recovery unit.
Adopting a modular design and a construction approach that involves factory prefabrication followed by on-site assembly ensures quality, safety, and reliability; shortens the construction schedule and guarantees project progress; reduces construction costs; conserves land use; and facilitates convenient overall disassembly and reassembly.
