Installed at the inlet and outlet of natural gas field stations, this equipment is used for launching and receiving pipeline pigs. The pig is loaded through the quick-opening blind flange at the rear of the pig trap and then conveyed into the pipeline to perform pigging operations. Upon arrival at the receiving trap, the pig can be retrieved via the same quick-opening blind flange. It is suitable for use with sour and sweet natural gas, shale gas, and other similar media.
