It mainly comprises a heavy hydrocarbon removal tower, a refrigeration unit, a regeneration gas heater, a regeneration gas cooler, a regeneration gas separator, and a dust filter, among others.
The dehydrated feed natural gas is cooled to –35°C by the primary propane refrigeration system to remove a portion of the heavy hydrocarbons, after which it enters the heavy-hydrocarbon adsorption towers. The three towers operate in a cyclic adsorption–regeneration mode to complete the removal of heavy hydrocarbons from the feed gas.
